NCRE is in the Mile High City

Yes that's right everyone NCRE is happening in a few short weeks in Denver CO.

We are as the nickname states at an elevation of 5280 feet which for us locals and Colorado residents is nothing. However if you count yourself among the many guests that will be traveling to this event from outside the state you are mostly likely at an elevation that is significantly lower that than ours.

With that in mind I would like to encourage you all to prepare for the change in alltitude now to avoid a dreded and very real illness known as Altitude Sickness. We have seen this take out guests to our city and state taken out for a whole weekend due to this. To avoid it please start drinking more water now.

For more information on what Altitude Sickness is and it symptoms check out this article on webmd.

Once in Denver here are some helpful tips to help you avoid getting sick and preventing you from enjoying the event and all that our beautiful city has to offer.

  • * Drink lots of water

  • * Eat some bananas or other potassium rich foods

We hope that these tips will help you dodge this curve ball that our city loves to throw at visitors.
