NCRE 2020 Cancellation

This is perhaps not a surprise to anyone, but it is still sad to announce that we are cancelling NCRE 2020 in Colorado. The hotel has confirmed the cancellation of the block and the rooms associated with it.

1. Ticket: if you purchased a pre-registration for NCRE or for a shirt, you will be refunded those costs shortly. If you have not received a refund by the end of the weekend, please email chief@nca.mindseyesociety.org and nca@nca.mindseyesociety.org and we will look into it.

2. Hotel Rooms: The hotel has cancelled the rooms in the block. I suggest waiting a couple of days to confirm your room was cancelled. Because the hotel is currently planning to be open then, I don't want a minor error to cost you the price of your room.

3. Flights: Airlines are cancelling flights left and right, but if your flight is still booked, go ahead and make sure you cancel it. The airlines are being very understanding right now.

What's next? Amanda and I have discussed hosting a second ONE in the summer to allow the plots crafted by the NCRE STs to be showcased as we're doing with the NWRE plots next month at ONE Spring. More information will come out as we go forward.

We are also talking to the MESCON hotel about options for pushing the event out to the fall. Those conversations are just now beginning, so please stay tuned for further updates as we know.
